COVID-19 Update Letter

We write today to update you on what is happening with respect to the impact of COVID-19 on our resident community. As things continue to evolve, we want to make sure you are kept in the loop and have access to the most current information. We learned today, 12/23/20, that 3 residents / 1 staff member have tested positive for the virus. As of 11/16/20, we are one of the very few SNF in San Diego able to admit COVID-19 from the community in collaboration with our local county public health and state licensing office, We currently have a total of (40) residents and (5) of staff who have tested positive for COVID-19.

Holiday Letter 2020

First and foremost, we want to wish you a most blessed and wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday! This year has been unprecedented in so many ways, but one thing that has remained the same is the enduring gratitude we have for each member of our Facility community. Visitation Update

With recent guidance we received from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services we are working toward re-establishing visitation. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you might have. 619.440.550 and ask to speak with our Infection Preventionist.

Reopening Visitation Information

We at VICTORIA POST-ACUTE CARE CENTER have worked diligently through the COVID experience to keep all residents and staff here safe and healthy. We understand that, as family members to our residents, it has been difficult to have been away from your loved ones for so long. With the recent Guidance we received from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, as interpreted by our State Department of Health, we are working toward re-establishing visitation.

As we continue to navigate the COVID-19 landscape as a health care provider and as an employer, we want to reassure you that we take our infection prevention and control obligations very seriously. As you are aware, our Facility was hit early and hard by COVID-19, affecting staff and residents. Our staff delivered recovery-based treatment and committed to managing the spread of infection. We would like to share that we have not had a resident or staff member test positive for COVID-19 in the Facility since May 1.

Re: COVID-19 Virus / UPDATE

We have now learned that one (1) of our former residents tested positive for the COVID-19 virus.  Although this resident is not currently in the Facility, we are taking every precaution to protect our current residents, staff and visitors.
